Dedication Anniversary Mass & Reception
The Rapid City Catholic School System and Terra Sancta Retreat Center thank you for joining us on May 10! We’ll post photos of the day soon (we hope)!
Our day of celebration included Exposition at 8:30am. Adoration throughout the day. Benediction at 4:30pm
Bishop Peter Muhich celebrated Mass at 5:30pm in Holy Cross Chapel. A reception followed in the retreat center. The reception was made possible through a generous donation from Our Lady of the Black Hills parish in Piedmont.
A Day of Adoration & Thanksgiving
We are so grateful for the gifts we have received . . . from the generosity of the Sisters of St Martin Monastery that made Terra Sancta possible, to the donations of time and financial resources from thousands of people who have kept this gift from God alive and thriving during the past 10 years.
On Tuesday, September 27, we spent the day in prayer and thanksgiving in Holy Cross Chapel began at 8am with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament – our thanks to Dcn John Osnes for leading us in prayer. St Elizabeth Ann Seton joined us in prayer during the school day. Following 10 hours of Adoration, the Blessed Sacrament was reposed at 6pm.
Michelle Skoog offered an hour of praise & worship beginning at 6:30pm in Holy Cross Chapel. The concert was free.
Our commemorative magazine, Encounter Jesus. Experience His Love. Embrace His Gift, shared the story about our history, highlights from the past 10 years, and most importantly, read the stories of people who have been a part of the Terra Sancta experience – from the Sisters of St Martin Monastery, to volunteers and staff, from retreat guests, lodging guests, and more!
There are a few copies left – they’re available in the main lobby.
