Our Facility

We have large size meeting rooms that accommodate 50-60 people at tables. Jerusalem, our largest meeting room in Nazareth Hall, features built-in sound system and flat panel monitors for your presentation needs. A large white board is also built-in. Complimentary beverage service (coffee, hot tea and ice water) are also provided. The room seats approx 50 people in workshop style or 100 theater style. Other room set-ups are also possible. In-room thermostat allows you to control the room temperature.

Caesarea Philippi, another large meeting room, that seats up to 50 people for workshops and is easily reconfigured to best meet your needs. A gas fire place adds ambiance to this non-air conditioned room. Located in the Cloister, this room has direct access to a solarium and patio area making it a great location for large informal gatherings.

Available for weekends and during the summer, SES Cafeteria seats up to 200 people at tables for various gatherings.  For workshops or presentations, we can seat 120 people in classroom style seating.

We also have mid-size meeting rooms that offer conference style set-ups or more casual lounge style seating.  These rooms accommodate 10-20 people comfortably.

If you’re looking for a space for individual counseling or a small group discussion, the retreat center has seven small meeting rooms seating 2-10 people. These rooms offer multiple seating options – some have tables and chairs, some lounge style seating.

Our chapels are stocked for a variety of liturgical needs – daily mass, adoration, processionals, and more. A sacristan is provided for any scheduled masses.

Blessed Sacrament is reserved in Resurrection Chapel (a small chapel in Holy Cross Chapel) and within the Cenacle.

The Cenacle has seating for 30 people.  Blessed Sacrament is in reserve in this chapel.

Holy Cross Chapel with soaring 60 ft high ceilings and limestone rock walls, this inspirational chapel has seating capacity for more than 500; but the lay-out allows for groups of 40-100 to sit in close proximity to the altar for a more intimate feeling. A wonderful sound system, 9ft grand piano and projection capabilities provide options so groups may also use the chapel for presentations and concerts.

Resurrection Chapel, located within Holy Cross Chapel, has Blessed Sacrament in reserve and seating for about 15 people.

Mt of Beatitudes Amphitheater provides a beautiful location for outdoor liturgies.  The amphitheater features an outdoor sound system, altar, ambo and stunning crucifix all located in a open meadow on the hillside.

Our Family Style Rooms are beautiful, hotel-style rooms with two queen beds and a private bath. Though free wi-fi is available in the rooms, we’ve removed the extra distractions of TVs and electronics to help you truly Come Away and Rest in God.

Our Monastic Style Rooms feature two bunked twin beds, a built-in desk [most rooms], and a common, shared bath nearby. This wing also features a family-style kitchen which makes these rooms perfect for youth events, family reunions, and those looking for a simple, distraction free, do-it-yourself retreat experience.

Thanks to the generosity of many quilters in the area, each bed features a one of a kind quilt.  We are truly blessed!

Whether you’re looking for a place to have a lunch for 20 people or holding a formal banquet for 200, we can accommodate your dining needs.  We have three dining locations where most of our catering services take place.  However, we also have the flexibility to serve food in most meeting rooms, as well as the Garden of Gethsemane!

Emmaus, our large dining room, has seating capacity for a little more than 100 people.  It features a built-in sound system, and close proximity to both Holy Cross Chapel and the main lobby, making it a great location for day and evening events.

Zacchaeus Place has a gas fireplace and great ambiance.  Groups of less than 30 can enjoy more intimate dining accommodations.  This space also serves as our snack and beverage area for lodging guests.  For groups of 10-24, this space works great for meetings during a meal.

We are blessed to partner with St Elizabeth Seton Elementary School and utilize their Cafeteria on weekends and throughout the summer.  This allows us to provide our guests with the option to seat more than 200 people for larger events.  Wedding receptions of less than 150 guests find this space to be a beautiful option for dinner and dancing!

Terra Sancta Retreat Center has two amazing courtyards.

St Kateri Courtyard, located just off the main lobby, is a meditative space for our guests.  The courtyard has a Medicine Wheel, Infinity Walk and beautiful bronze sculpture of St Kateri Tekakawitha.

The Garden of Gethsemane, located next to Holy Cross Chapel, is a large open courtyard with a covered walkway on the perimeter.  This is a beautiful space to sit and enjoy a summer day, or have a reception.  Strings of globe lights add to the evening ambiance.  Roses planted by the Sisters of St Martin Monastery still bloom each summer – thanks to the continued care by Sr Lorane!
